What does Journey give a training provider?

Journey gives UK apprenticeship training providers connected MIS, e-portfolio and OTJ, ILR and funding, EPA and gateway, plus quality and inspection-preparation workflows, with tenant-scoped controls, RBAC and attributable audit history. Journey is independent software and is not DfE or Ofsted approved. It does not guarantee funding or inspection outcomes.

The whole lifecycle

Enrolment to achievement on one product record, connecting MIS, e-portfolio and delivery workflows.

Funding-review controls

Funding-sensitive figures are computed server-side against versioned DfE rule packs and retain linked evidence to support provider review. Journey does not determine official acceptance or guarantee funding outcomes.

Inspection preparation

Self-assessment, safeguarding and quality evidence organised to support provider-controlled internal review and inspection preparation.

Structured evaluation

Journey Core, Journey Advanced and managed services are scoped against your provision before activation.

One platform instead of a stack that disagrees with itself

Most providers run apprenticeships across an MIS, an e-portfolio, an off-the-job tracker, a funding spreadsheet and quality documents. Journey brings the lifecycle from enrolment to achievement onto one connected product record so related delivery, funding and quality workflows can be reviewed together.

That single spine is what makes the rest possible: per-role dashboards that make the next action obvious, funding computed against the right rules, and inspection evidence that is a by-product of delivery rather than a separate project.

Tenant-scoped access, roles and audit history

Journey applies tenant-scoped access checks and role-based permissions to provider records, and records significant changes against the person who made them. During procurement, buyers can review how these controls work and their limits.

Pricing that starts free and stays fair

Journey Core, Journey Advanced and optional managed services are evaluated against the provider's workflows, implementation needs and governance requirements. Access is granted to verified UK training providers, and approved scope and commercial terms are confirmed in writing before the tenant is activated.

Frequently asked questions

Evidence-linked and accountable by design

Built so your team can trace evidence, decisions and actions

Tenant-scoped access controls

Tenant-scoped access controls are designed to keep each provider's records separate on reads and writes.

Controlled audit history

Significant application state changes are recorded against the person who made them, supporting a traceable history.

Published funding-rule packs

Journey applies supported, versioned DfE funding-rule packs selected from the apprentice's start date, including 2026/27 version 3, to support provider review.

Bounded AI assistance

After provider, DPIA and release approval, Journey Advanced offers authorised drafts, K/S suggestions and fixed Director Insight views for human review. It does not make regulated decisions or change the source record.

Evidence-led security controls

Tenant isolation, access controls, audit records and governed operations are designed into the platform.

Your data and employers stay yours

Export options are available under the applicable terms, and employer relationships remain with the provider.
