Safeguarding, wellbeing, inclusion and reasonable adjustments are first-class, gated to the roles that need them.
Staff-vetting and central-record workflows can be maintained as provider-controlled records; providers remain responsible for their content and use.

Ofsted publishes the further education and skills inspection toolkit, operating guides and inspection information for providers and inspectors. Providers should use the official publications to understand the guidance applicable to their setting and inspection date.
Journey helps provider teams organise relevant internal evidence. It does not decide which evidence Ofsted will accept, what guidance applies to a particular provider, or what grade an inspector will give.
Journey lets authorised provider teams maintain self-assessment, safeguarding, wellbeing, inclusion and reasonable-adjustment records alongside delivery data. Access is role-scoped, and provider teams remain responsible for the completeness, accuracy and use of their records.
Relevant quality-evidence workflows may form part of a Journey Advanced evaluation. Scope, implementation responsibilities and commercial terms are confirmed in writing during evaluation.

Journey's published product scope is apprenticeship delivery. Tell us about your setting and requirement, and the Journey team will confirm whether Journey is appropriate or whether a separately scoped consultation may be possible. This is not an Ofsted approval or inspection-outcome service.
Evidence-linked and accountable by design
Tenant-scoped access controls are designed to keep each provider's records separate on reads and writes.
Significant application state changes are recorded against the person who made them, supporting a traceable history.
Journey applies supported, versioned DfE funding-rule packs selected from the apprentice's start date, including 2026/27 version 3, to support provider review.
After provider, DPIA and release approval, Journey Advanced offers authorised drafts, K/S suggestions and fixed Director Insight views for human review. It does not make regulated decisions or change the source record.
Tenant isolation, access controls, audit records and governed operations are designed into the platform.
Export options are available under the applicable terms, and employer relationships remain with the provider.
